An elevator pitch is a persuasive sales pitch. Elevator pitches are used to try and persuade a person, or group of persons, to "buy into" what you're selling. This should spark interest to potential "buyers", and communicate to them what your organization does. Some conventions of an elevator pitch are; persuasion, pleading, illusion, fast-paced, to-the-point, timely, disciplined, scholarly, etc.
All of these examples of elevator pitches try and "woo" the audience by trying to convince them of a topic that they may or may not agree with. These three videos are all short and to-the-point elevator pitches, which all do the same thing, convince the audience to "buy into" them.
